FINALS FEVER!

Next week sees the commencement of the final round of the Opens Alan Langer Trophy and the start of the knock out phases of the Renouf, Hancock and Walters trophies in the junior age groups. There are also two grand finals in play with the Keebra Park “Struddies” (Open B’s Competition) Challenge side playing PBC and the Keebra Park Open “C” Side contesting the grand final of the Titans Cup at Nerang.

This has been a fantastic effort by both the boys and the coaching staff to orchestrate themselves when there were often five teams playing on one night at as many locations. To have teams in two grand finals and have the Opens, 13’s and 14’s teams finish unbeaten in the rounds and the fifteens finishing 4th overall is to be congratulated.

Mr Stevens Titans team will face Marymount at Nerang junior rugby league grounds @ 6-30PM on Monday night and this is sure to be a close fought encounter with the sides quite evenly matched throughout the rounds.

Mr Richards comes off a good win at Clairvaux to face local rivals PBC in the Struddies Challenge on Wednesday evening.

On the same night the Open A’s will play Cavendish Road in the final match of the seeding rounds of the Alan Langer Trophy before the knockout stages of the Arrive Alive Cup starts.

On Tuesday the 24th of July the unbeaten 13 and 14 year sides will take on Clairvaux and Redcliffe respectively.
