"Arrive Alive Cup"

The Keebra Park Rugby League Program has sent three more of its graduates down to Sydney to join the reigning Premiers and to begin the quest to realise their rugby league dreams. Ben Te’o, Dane Macdonald and Herman Retzlaff will join past graduates in pre season training to give themselves the best chance.

This will bring the number of ex Keebra students in the Tigers ranks to 7. That list is headed by standout Benji Marshall with Sam Moa, Rangi Chase and new signing Jamaal Lolesi all set to figure in the Tigers campaign in 2006.

“I am quite excited”, said Retzlaff, who was also named as student of the year for his “all round “ application to school life. “Its quite sad as well – I don’t really want to leave school. Its been fun at Keebra. .

Ben echoed these thoughts, “ Its going to be great” he said. “To think that only two years ago Benji was at Keebra and both he and the others (Sam Moa and Rangi Chase) are really going well in Sydney.

So good luck to the boys and hopefully we will see you down in Sydney next year during our 2006 Arrive Alive Cup campaign.
