Any of our regular readers would have read my prediction last week that SouthCoast would win the recent State schoolboy Championships and my extraordinary powers of future gazing were proven correct when the boys emerged victorious last Sunday.

Added to this triumph were the inclusion of two of our students in the Queensland squad named after the carnival. Well done to Damon Harth and Bodene Thompson who now join Under 15 Reece Wilson as Queensland schoolboy representatives.

Harth and Thompson have been working hard towards this goal and are proof that this work pays off. "I'm so happy to have succeeded in making Queensland " said Harth. " Its been on my list and one thing I can now say I have achieved" he added.

We wish the boys all the best and don't forget that the Broncos challenge continues next week so lets get behind the team and support them all the way.
