AFFILIATION WITH THE WESTS TIGERS NRL CLUB

Keebra Park State High School has always valued affiliations with Industry leaders that allow our students to complete traineeships and apprenticeships. These affiliations have always been evident in the traditional vocational areas and our affiliation with Wests Tigers is a reflection of Keebra Park’s perception of sport as a viable career option for today’s student. The constant communication and support from the Wests Tigers also ensures that our program graduates are prepared both physically and mentally for the transition from student to professional football player. This is a view echoed by Wests Tigers head recruitment officer Mr Steve Lathers.

“Today’s footballer needs to be familiar with the expectations of a career in the NRL and this program really does prepare these boys. They come to us aware not only of the physical requirements but also what we as a club expect of them on and off the field.”
